Initial Checks:

  • Confirm the email address the customer is using for their second-hand account.

  • Verify that this email address exists in the Faume Back Office.

If you cannot find the account, it means the customer did not use this email address to create their second-hand account.
If the customer made a typo when creating their account, it will not be possible to transfer the account data.
The customer must create their second-hand account using the correct email address.

How the customer can reset their password:

The link to perform this operation is provided on the account login page or during the trade-in process.

By clicking on “Reset my password”, the customer will access a form to enter their email address and confirm sending a password reset email.
The link in the email is valid for 1 hour; after that, the customer will need to repeat the process.

If the customer remembers their password, they can ignore the email and return to the login page to sign in.
If the customer receives an error when trying to create an account with their email, it means the email is already registered and the customer needs to perform a password reset.

How to reset a customer’s password from the CMS:

It is possible from the CMS to send a password reset to the customer if needed.
You can reset a customer’s password by clicking on “Reset Password” when viewing the customer’s profile. The customer will automatically receive a link allowing them to create a new password.
