A tade-in is refused when the item is unsellable according to our specifications (stains, holes, etc.). The item is then entered into the "bad condition" stock, and the customer is notified by email that their trade-in has been refused, with photos of the defect. You can also find these photos on your Faume Back Office by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Trade-in tab

  2. Search for the relevant trade-in using the search bar or the filters

  3. You will then see the item details and photos of the reported defect

If the customer disputes this refusal, request a return of the item on the chatbot.

Reminder of Faume’s specifications: nearly 70 checkpoints are planned by our quality experts.

Reminder of condition definitions:

New condition

The item must have its original tag and be in the same condition as when purchased.

Very good condition

Example of signs of wear: usage creases, material softer than new condition, wear around the collar.

  • An accessory is missing (belt, brooch),

  • It is not from the brand / the brand tag is missing,
