The view should make it easy to answer the following question:
Which items were physically in stock, for a given brand, at the time of the monthly snapshot used for storage billing?
⚠️ This does not refer to published items, but to items physically in stock. An item may be in stock but not published, for example due to a delay in publication, unpublishing because it is part of an order, etc

This feature concerns the tracking of historical physical stock in the Faume Admin.

The view applies to both CMS and Shopify brands.
Overview
The physical stock view displays the list of items that were physically in stock at the time of the monthly snapshot. It does not provide a real-time view of stock.
To get a detailed real-time view of stock, users should refer to the Taken-back items view filtered on In stock + published, or to the Items for sale view.
To get a view of stock distribution, users should refer to the stock dashboards.
The data is historized monthly, with a reference date on the 15th of each month. This date is aligned with warehouse billing, as warehouses bill us for the storage of items in stock on the 15th of the month. This allows us to reconcile invoices between what is billed to us by Operations and what we rebill to the brands.
The reference date is the 15th of each month.
This means that:
the user cannot freely select a daily date;
the view displays a monthly snapshot;
the snapshot serves as a reference to compare physical stock with billing data;
stock movements that occur after the snapshot are not visible in the month already historized.
Example:
If the user consults June 2026, the view displays the items that were physically in stock at the time of the snapshot on 15/06/2026.
An item that entered stock on 20/06/2026 should therefore not be expected in the 15/06/2026 snapshot.
An item that entered stock on 05/06/2026 and was sold on 10/06/2026 should therefore not be expected in the 15/06/2026 snapshot.
On the 15th of each month, the snapshot for the current month is displayed.
Search
The search bar allows users to find an item or a group of items within the displayed snapshot. The search can therefore be performed by:
item ID;
EAN;
SKU;
item title.
When the user enters a search, the table is updated to display the results matching the search within the selected month and filters.
Functional rules:
the search applies to the displayed monthly snapshot;
it is combined with the active filters;
it does not allow users to search across all months at the same time;
Filters
The view can be filtered according to several criteria:
brand;
observed condition; the displayed condition corresponds to the item’s current condition. An item that was in stock in good condition on the 15th with a “very good” condition may have been moved to poor condition on the 20th. It will then appear in the monthly snapshot with a poor condition.
stock-in date; this refers to the item’s first stock-in date. If the item was returned, we use its first stock-in date and not the second one after the return.
The total number of items is recalculated after validation.
Access to item details
When clicking on a row, the user is redirected to the detail page of the taken-back item.
Export
The CTA allows users to export the view in CSV or XLSX format.
⚠️ The view does not represent real-time stock. It must therefore not be used to check the stock status at a specific point in time.
